Trauma and Abuse

Living with trauma and the effects of abuse can be devastating.  Suffering the effects of trauma can lead to being on edge and spending our lives in fear.  Often we develop unhealthy ways of coping leading to further chaos in our lives.   Some of the signs that you are suffering maybe:

  • difficulty sleeping

  • being anxious all the time

  • trouble building trusting relationships

  • flashbacks

  • dissociation

This is list is by no means exhaustive.  Counselling can help unpack what is going on and how to address they symptoms of trauma and abuse.  I provide a safe space to be seen and heard.  Check out my blog on trauma
